A Shreveport man was arrested on thousands of counts of child pornography. 61-year-old Jeffrey Lambing faces over four thousand counts related to child sexual abuse material after Shreveport Police probed multiple electronic devices. If charges hold, it could be one of the largest child sexual abuse material cases in Louisiana history.
The Colorado State University Hurricane Forecast Team has issued its final forecast for the 2026 season, and Senior Research Scientist Phil Klotzbach says it’s unchanged from last month.

Louisiana Tech and LSU Health Shreveport signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a partnership for research and student training. Dr. Oren Rom, the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Research at LSU Health Shreveport, says the agreement allows students, faculty and researchers to collaborate on research projects and share access to specialized facilities.
