Felony charges against Attorney General Liz Murrill have been dropped, but the political drama is not over. Murrill was indicted on malfeasance and public intimidation charges for sending letters to several elected New Orleans officials warning them that if they continue to interfere with a new state law that merged the clerk of court offices in Orleans Parish they could be removed from office.

Food manufacturers are adding protein to products that traditionally weren’t considered protein-rich, from cereal and yogurt to coffee and chips. But LSU Pennington Biomedical Research Center nutrition expert Dr. Jacob Mey says most people already get enough protein in their daily diets.
