A tree hit LSU Baseball legend Skip Bertman’s Baton Rouge home Sunday during severe thunderstorms. Photos from outside his home show a large tree uprooted from the front yard and collapsed onto the garage and side of the house.  We’re told Bertman was not injured.

The funeral of beloved former Southern baseball coach Roger Cador will be held on campus later today.  The former player turned coach led the Jaguars for 33 years and won two HBCU national championships and 14 SWAC championships. Dan Canevari, who coached with Cador for three years, says Cador brought the most out of his players because they knew he cared about them on and off the field.
