A federal court in Alabama will hold a hearing this afternoon in the SEC’s lawsuit filed to stop LSU from adding players who were on NFL rosters during training camp. Attorney General Liz Murrill, who’s also named as a defendant in the case, says the NCAA’s exclusion of class of 2022 athletes in its five-year eligibility model was unfair, and that is why judges are siding with former college athletes.

Meanwhile the two spots LSU had left open on its roster for the players in question Dae’Quan Wright and Zxavian Harris, have now been filled.  LSU announced last night  that Aidan Anding and Gabriel Reliford have were added, finalizing the roster. Anding and Reliford are injured and not expected to play this season.
