The Department of Children and Family Services is urging parents of to make sure their babies have the safest possible sleep environment at night.  Andrew Greenstein reports.

The National Hurricane Center says a tropical depression or storm could form in the Gulf later this week and threaten the northern Gulf coast. National Weather Service Meteorologist Donald Jones says it’s hard to predict how much development we’ll see from this disturbance, but a wet weekend is possible.

Governor Jeff Landry is calling it the next American Renaissance. That’s how he described the construction of data centers being built in Louisiana and around the country during an appearance on Fox Business.  Of course data centers can hold massive amounts of digital files, handle corporate databases and back up the cloud. Landry says this type of technology is needed in today’s world.

Not a great night for the Saints last night as the Falcons dominated the black and gold in Monday night football. It took the Falcons just three plays to take the crowd right out of the game, with Bijan Robinson scoring on a 59-yard run. Head Coach Kellen Moore says the fact that his team laid an egg for the twenty year observance of their return to the dome after Hurricane Katrina was frustrating. .
