Saints starting left tackle Kelvin Banks will miss significant time as he undergoes surgery for a high ankle sprain suffered against the Ravens. 2023 fifth-round pick Asim Richards will fill his spot. Richards played nearly 400 snaps after the Saints traded for him last season, and he says that experience goes a long way.

Jayden Daniels has been ruled for this Sunday’s game against the Seahawks after dislocating his left elbow in the Commanders 37 to 20 loss to the Cowboys. Daniels suffered the same injury last season and he’ll meet with specialists for further tests today and Thursday.

Former LSU star and Chicago Cubs third baseman Alex Bregman reportedly suffered multiple facial fractures but a postseason return is possible. Bregman was hit in the face by a foul ball while standing in the on deck circle.
