An SEC team has won the College World Series for a seventh consecutive time as the Oklahoma Sooners finished an unbelievable run through the NCAA tournament by beating North Carolina 13-2 in the championship game of the C-W-S. It’s the third time the Sooners have won a baseball national championship and the first time since 1994.

The Saints will hold joint practices with three different teams during training camp. New Orleans will host Jacksonville on August 13th in Metairie. Two days later the Saints will play the Jaguars in preseason game number one in the Dome. Before the Saints play the Rams in L-A on August 22, they will have joint practices against the Cowboys and the Rams on August 18th and 20th in California.

LSU’s latest football commitment is three-star wide receiver Gary Burney Junior from Parkway High School. Burney’s high school coach, Coy Brotherton, says Burney started to show flashes in his sophomore season…:

Burney was a Houston commit, but flipped his verbal pledge after visiting LSU this past weekend. He’s the fourth wide receiver in LSU’s Class of 2027 which is ranked as 11th best by On-3-dot-com.
