With diesel now averaging more than six dollars a gallon in Louisiana, Governor Landry is calling for a 90-day ban on diesel exports. On CNBC, Landry notes that the U.S. is sending a record amount of diesel to Europe.
Lieutenant Governor Billy Nungesser says President Trump’s nominee to head the FDA, Dr. Heidi Overton, should learn about Louisiana’s seafood industry as part of her confirmation process. In a letter to Senator Bill Cassidy, Nungesser says Overton should visit Louisiana as part of that learning process.
