Tomorrow is election day as the Senate run-off Republican and Democratic Primaries will be decided. On the Republican side… The John Fleming campaign has portrayed Julia Letlow as a liberal. Letlow supported DEI initiatives when she interviewed to be the president at ULM. Letlow says she’s anti-DEI, and that’s why she authored the Parents Bill of Rights Act.
Fleming says his resume is much more robust. He’s previously served in the U.S. House and was part of the Trump Administration during the President’s first term. The 74-year-old Minden native also says voters value his experience in the military, as a doctor and businessman…
Woodside Energy, which is developing an LNG plant in Calcasieu Parish, is spending five-million dollars to rebuild Sam Houston Jones State Park and restore more than 800 acres within the park that were devasted by Hurricane Laura and other natural disasters….
