An LSU student alleges she was raped by a football player last October and the East Baton Rouge District Attorney’s Office has launched its own investigation.

LSU president Wade Rousse says the school takes these allegations seriously and he says this incident was handled professionally and that LSU followed its policies, procedures and best practices. Rousse says LSU will cooperate with the D-A’s investigation.

State Police say they arrested 32 people over the weekend in response to increase criminal activity in Ouachita and Morehouse parishes. State Trooper Ryan Davis says this two-day enforcement detail resulted in 188 traffic stops that led to the arrests…

Kenner police say they’ve arrested a business owner who allegedly was secretly recording individuals that were using the women’s bathroom. At the moment, 57-year-old Henry Rios, who owns a banner shop called ETC Nola, is facing three counts of video voyeurism.
