Forecasters are predicting rainfall totals from 1.5 to four inches of rain from today through Sunday for central and south Louisiana. The Louisiana Department of Veteran Affairs is establishing the state’s first Veterans Business Outreach Center thanks to a 875-thousand grant from the U-S Small Business Administration. VA Secretary Charlton Meginley says the V-BOC will be operated by The Boot, an organization dedicated to attracting, retaining and advancing military talent across the state.
