At this hour, Governor Landry is signing the Caleb Wilson Act into law. It’s named after the late Southern University student who died during an off-campus hazing ritual. The legislation requires college students in campus organizations to complete an anti-hazing course within their first two semesters.
After a week of relief from the rain, you can expect summer showers across Louisiana to return next week. LSU Health climatologist Barry Keim says a front will combine with tropical moisture and linger over the state throughout the week.
