The National Hurricane Center says Tropical Depression number two is getting better organized in the northeastern Gulf. The system is expected to become Tropical Storm Bertha later today and move towards Louisiana’s southeastern coast with a landfall as a tropical storm expected in the New Orleans area late Wednesday afternoon. This is a storm that could impact the entire southern half of the state as it moves east to west.
