In an exclusive interview with Tiger Rag Editor Tim Buckley, LSU football coach Brian Kelly says that he’s open to having both a starter and a change-of-pace QB as the 2022 season begins. Kelly agreed when it was suggested that it could be something similar to how the Saints used both Drew Brees and Taysom Hill for multiple seasons. The Tigers have four talented quarterbacks on the roster: Myles Brennan, the sixth-year veteran; Jayden Daniels, the electrifying transfer; Garrett Nussmeier, the talented upstart; and Walker Howard, the five-star freshman. All but Howard are still in consideration for the starting job heading into the summer. Kelly says that a starter likely won’t be named until August.
