A lot of football analysts thought Coach Sean Payton was making a mistake by starting Taysom Hill at quarterback over Jameis Winston as Hill was making his first start, while Winston had 20 starts under his belt.  Here’s Payton on why he thinks there was so much negative reaction after it got out that Hill would start.

The New Orleans Pelicans have officially signed 7-foot center Steven Adams to a two year $35 million dollar deal, the veteran big man will provide the Pelicans with some much-needed help in the post.

After getting a much-needed win over Arkansas last Saturday, LSU has now shifted their focus to Texas A&M who they play on the road this weekend.  The Aggies have a high-scoring offense due in large part to their ground game.  Coach Ed Orgeron says A&M has a great running attack.

Louisiana Tech’s football game against FIU has been canceled due to COVID-19 concerns within the Panthers program.  This is the fourth straight week that the Bulldogs won’t play due to cancellation.
