The LSU Tigers finally start the second half of their season today as they face an improved Arkansas team who is three and four, after failing to win an SEC game in 2018 and 2019. LSU’s TJ Finley is expected to start at quarterback and the Bayou Bengals are hoping for a bounce-back performance from the freshman from Ponchatoula. Finley had three turnovers as LSU lost 48-11 to Auburn last time out. Tigers receiver Terrace Marshall expects Finley will do just fine today…

We’ll see if LSU can establish the run. The Razorbacks are allowing 183 yards on the ground this season. And LSU’s defense has to limit the big plays. The Tigers rank in the bottom nationally in three different explosive play categories. Kick-off is at 11 AM.

Multiple media outlets are reporting that Taysom Hill not Jameis Winston will start at quarterback in tomorrow’s Saints game against the Atlanta Falcons. Coach Sean Payton is not confirming those reports…

We do know that Drew Brees has been placed on injured reserve, so he’ll miss at least the next three games. And Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore is questionable for this game with an abdomen injury. The Falcons enter the game with a three and six record, but Atlanta has won three of four since Raheem Morris took over as interim coach. Kick-off is at noon.
