A report from the 2021 Gulf Coast Energy Outlook predicts oil production will decline over the next three years. David Dismukes, Executive Director at LSU Center for Energy Studies co-authored the report and says futures markets predict oil will continue to trade in the 40 to 50-dollar range a barrel for the next decade.

Over the past two days, the state has reported over 45-hundred new coronavirus cases. This is why Governor John Bel Edwards says not only are cases on the rise, but the percentage of coronavirus tests coming back positive is on the rise, which he says increases the chance that someone at a large Thanksgiving celebration has COVID…

LHSAA Executive Director Eddie Bonine says he has no plans of shutting down high school sports, even though more schools are moving to virtual learning. The high school football playoffs are set to begin next week and prep basketball is set to tip-off. When the pandemic started, the LHSAA halted spring sports and the seasons never resumed. Bonine says he didn’t feel good about ending a student-athlete’s senior season…
