This weekend’s LSU-Bama game has been called off due to a COVID outbreak on the LSU team reportedly linked to a Halloween party. LSU no longer has enough scholarship players on the roster to compete. A reschedule could be tough given the Tigers already had to put off their game against Florida earlier this season.

Deployment ceremonies for the 256th Brigade of the Louisiana National Guard began today as they depart for a yearlong mission.

Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry, head of the Republican Attorneys General Association, asks the US Supreme Court to hear a case challenging the legality of many Pennsylvania mail-in ballots. Before the November 3rd election the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled that mail-in ballots that arrived after polls closed could be counted. Landry says those votes shouldn’t count.

Under the ruling, a vote could be counted as long as the mail-in ballot was postmarked by Election Day.

Baton Rouge Police Internal Affairs are leading an investigation into claims by LSU freshman wide receiver Koy Moore that he was harassed and violated by cops who accused him of having drugs and a gun. Baton Rouge Police Chief Murphy Paul says the officers face additional training and potential punishment if it’s found they treated Moore unfairly…
