About 8,000 Entergy customers remain without power, mostly due to damage caused by Hurricane Zeta. Most of those outages are in the most extreme southeastern portions of the state and while those lights should be coming back on within the next few days Governor Edwards says the state needs to catch a break from any further storms.

An Acadiana family mourns the loss of their teenage son. Reports say the body of 15-year old Quawan “Bobby” Charles was found in a sugarcane field by a law enforcement drone on Monday.
