It’s been nine days since Hurricane Zeta struck southeast Louisiana. Power has been restored to a majority of the area but approximately 9-thousand remain without electricity. Edwards says utility crews and several government agencies are working together to speed recovery efforts.

19-year-old Jamyron Magee from Angie is facing two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of attempted first-degree murder linked to a shooting at a party in a Lafayette City park. An Acadiana family is looking for justice after the loss of their teenage son. Reports say the body of 15-year old Quawan “Bobby” Charles was found in a sugarcane field by a law enforcement drone on Monday. Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Katherine Breaux.
