Tropical Storm Delta is getting better organized and strengthening in the northwestern Caribbean Sea and is expected to become a hurricane on Tuesday. National Weather Service New Orleans meteorologist Kevin Gilmore says the storm appears to be on track for a Friday morning landfall.

LSU announces alcohol will be for sale at Saturday night’s home game against Missouri. Also, the school says ticketholders will no longer need to complete a CDC wellness check before entering Tiger Stadium. Governor Edwards says this will also be the case at other athletic venues like Cajun Field and Joe Aillet Stadium in Ruston.
