LSU Football Coach Ed Orgeron admits they should have had a better plan in place on both sides of the ball this past Saturday when they lost to previously unranked Mississippi State 44-34. LSU gave up 623 passing yards and the Tigers offense allowed seven sacks. Coach Ed Orgeron says he looks forward to getting back on track this Saturday at Vanderbilt

Orgeron expects All-American cornerback Derek Stingley to play on Saturday against Vanderbilt. He was unavailable for Saturday’s game as he was hospitalized the night before because of a reported allergic reaction.

The Saints are 1-and-2 but at least running back Alvin Kamara is off to a great start after a down year last season. Through three games this season, he has 153 rushing yards on nearly five yards a carry and 285 yards through the air with six total touchdowns. Kamara also had an impressive 52-yard touchdown catch in Sunday night’s loss to Green Bay, where he broke five different tackles. The Saints are in Detroit this Sunday. The Lions ended an 11-game losing streak with a win at Arizona this past weekend.

Can the Titans play this Sunday? The team has closed its practice facilities until Saturday after three players and five members tested positive for COVID.

And Barbe, Sam Houston, LaGrange, and Washington-Marion will not play varsity football this season because of Hurricane Laura.
