Holtz is hopeful they can play on September 19th against Conference USA foe Southern Miss. The coach says power outages caused by Laura led to players finding other places to sleep which has led to the outbreak in cases.
The LHSAA executive committee votes that football teams can begin contact practices tomorrow and the start of the season has been moved up to October 1st through the third.
