The reigning National Champs are adjusting to the new normal as they use new face coverings in football practice.

LSU Athletic Director Scott Woodward says operating at a restricted attendance capacity for LSU football games is going to cost the program tens of millions of dollars this year. Woodward says they’re moving to trying and limit the fiscal damage that will be done to student-athletes as a result of the likely implementation of capacity restrictions once games start September 26th.

 

 

 

 

 

President Trump announces that starting later this month all states except for Texas and Florida will have to start paying 25 percent of the cost of their National Guard COVID deployments. Governor Edwards penned a letter to President Friday requesting a reversal of the decision.

Florida ranks third in per capita cases and Texas ranks 14th. Louisiana is 1st in the nation.
