In Franklin Parish a traffic stop leads to the discovery of a dead body in the trunk of a bullet-riddled car. Court records show a trooper pulled a suspect over for speeding, he then observed bullet holes in the driver’s side door, and smelled pot, Master Trooper Michael Reichard says the arresting officer did the right thing when he felt there was more criminal activity and searched the car
