Baton Rouge television stations are reporting a US Marshal is dead and murder suspect wounded in a hospital after a shooting during an investigation this morning. Sources say the injured man is Jamie Croom who was wanted by cops on first-degree murder charges in the deaths of a brother and sister killed outside of a nightclub in New Roads last month.
