The Slidell Police Department says a 24-year-old Baton Rouge man is under arrest accused of robbing Ulta Beauty then throwing his 17-month-old daughter to the ground when he was confronted by cops. They say Lamar Causey then ran from officers and when he was arrested he threatened to have his people from Baton Rouge find out who the cops were and take care of them.

The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s office says information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for a double homicide in January could be worth up to $25,000. They say 37-year-old Chad Nichols and 29-year-old Benny Booker were gunned down at a home in Donaldsonvile. Investigators believe the suspect stole Booker’s white Dodge Magnum. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward up to $5,000 and an independent reward of $20,000 is also being offered. Anonymous calls can be made to 225-344-STOP.

The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s office says the wife of a doctor who admitted to shooting and killing her husband during an argument has not been charged in his death. Legal analyst Doug Sunseri says the DA will likely let a grand jury decide what’s next for Kacie Breen…:
