The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s office says an ATV crash over the weekend in Central claimed the life of a 6-year-old little boy and sent another child to a hospital. They say a group was riding on the four wheeler when the adult driver lost control and the vehicle flipped.

A group of lawmakers and stakeholders in the movie industry will look at a way to improve the state’s film tax credit program this week as the Louisiana-shot blockbuster “Focus” opened Friday night. New Orleans Senator JP Morrell says they aren’t trying to ditch the program but there are issues with it that need to be addressed…:

The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s office says a woman admitted to shooting and killing her husband, a Covington area physician, after the two got into a heated argument over the weekend. There have been no arrests in the death of Dr. Wayne Breen but the investigation is ongoing.
