Chief of Infectious Disease Doctor Julio Figueroa says Remdesivir requires a patient to receive an intravenous dose every day. The FDA is said to be on a fast track to approving remdesivir as a treatment for COVID-19.

Governor John Bel Edwards says his new stay at home order will allow churches to hold services under a tent and he hopes there will be a further relaxation in a couple of weeks.
