There is no flying in or out of Monroe Regional Airport today as all flights have been cancelled since mid-morning. The potential of freezing rain in southwest Louisiana has led McNeese State to cancel classes tonight and tomorrow. A freezing rain advisory stretches as far east as East Feliciana Parish.

The city of Pineville is ecstatic over the news that American Specialty Alloys has announced they plan to build a $2.4 billion aluminum mill where the International Paper mill once operated. Pineville Mayor Clarence Fields says the project is expected to create nearly 15-hundred new jobs…
