24-7 sports ranks the Ragin Cajuns class as the best in the Sun Belt. Southern Lab wide receiver Reginald Johnson signed with U-L yesterday. He’s rated as the 40th best prospect in the state. 24-7 sports had ULM’s class rated as the worst in the Sun Belt.

The basketball team with the worst record in the SEC beat the team with the best record from the league as Vanderbilt upset the Tigers 99 to 90 last night to snap the Commodores 26-game losing streak in the Southeastern Conference. LSU didn’t play much defense as they allowed Saben Lee and Maxwell Evans to combine to score 64 points. Third-year coach Will Wade says it’s as disappointing a game he’s been a part of at LSU. Freshman forward Trendon Watford led the Tigers with a career-high 26 points.

McNeese, Southeastern Louisiana and Nicholls also lost last night. The only Louisiana team to win was Northwestern State who defeated Abilene Christian 73-69. The Demons are now 6-and-6 in the Southland.

In action tonight, Georgia Southern visits ULM, the Cajuns host Georgia State, while Louisiana Tech is at Western Kentucky.

The Pelicans are in Chicago to take on the Bulls. Zion Williamson is questionable with a toe injury.
