The LSU’s men’s basketball team is now 5-and-0 after coming from behind to beat Ole Miss 80-76 on Saturday. The Tigers have won 12 straight SEC games on the road. LSU is home tomorrow night to host Florida. The Gators are 4-and-1 in league play.
Louisiana Tech is 4-and-2 in Conference USA after losing to North Texas 51 to 50 at the Buzzer. It’s the first time the Mean Green have won in Ruston since 1952. Tech is at Middle Tennessee on Thursday. Middle has yet to win a game in league play this year.
The Ragin Cajuns and Warhawks are both tied for last place in the Sun Belt with two and seven league records. The two teams will face each other on Saturday.
Nicholls is a half-game back of first place in the Southland after beating Central Arkansas 79-72. Elvin Harvey Junior had a career-high 24 points.
