Congress has raised the minimum smoking and vaping age to 21 nationwide. The provision was added to a year-end spending bill signed by President Donald Trump. Louisiana Health Secretary Rebecca Gee says it’s welcomed news considering, most people get addicted to nicotine in their teens.

Gilead Sciences sent 245-thousand dollars in grant money to four organizations in Louisiana to combat the spread of HIV and to help support those living with H-I-V. Corporate Contributions Director Arun Skaria says a total of two-point-three million dollars in grants are going to 40 organizations fighting H-I-V in the South, which is disproportionately affected by H-I-V….
