Orgeron says even though linebacker Michael Divinity has returned to practice this week. He’s not eligible to play unless the Tigers reach the national championship game.

Louisiana Tech played poorly on Friday against Marshall and lost their first conference game. Starting quarterback J’Mar Smith, leading receiver Adrian Hardy and starting linebacker James Jackson were suspended for the game, but Coach Skip Holtz is not using that as an excuse for why they lost. Smith and Hardy will also miss Saturday’s game at UAB.

The eight and two Ragin Cajuns are receiving votes in this week’s coaches poll. Offensive lineman Kevin Dotson says getting some national recognition is making the alums proud…
