President Trump visits Monroe tomorrow in support of GOP gubernatorial challenger Eddie Rispone. Trump has an excellent rating on his job performance to the tune of 60-70% among white voters. Political analyst Bernie Pinsonat says Trump does not have the same outlook from black voters.

A Denham Springs man is under arrest for stealing an electric shopping cart from a Walmart in Houma, allegedly to avoid getting a DWI. Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s spokesperson John DeSantis says 32-year-old Brice Kendell Williams had parked at one bar, started drinking, then decided to steal the cart and drive it half a mile down the road to another bar…
