Louisiana earns an F-grade on preterm birth rates from the March of Dimes’ report card on maternal and infant health.  March of Dimes spokesperson Frankie Robertson says the poverty rate is a negatively contributing factor.

The Shreveport Times is reporting that President Donald Trump will be campaigning in the Shreveport/Bossier city area this month. There are rumors a rally will be November 14th at the CenturyLink Center. The President will be in Monroe this Wednesday and the Advocate reports that Trump will attend the LSU-Alabama game Saturday in Tuscaloosa.
