Monroe Police say a man was arrested after Saturday night’s Mardi Gras parade accused of stabbing another man in the throat. They say James Ray Leonard was allegedly driving carelessly in a parking lot along the route when the victim, Bobby Hollins, attempted to stop Leonard. Leonard then reportedly stabbed him in the neck. Hollins was transported to a local hospital. Leonard is charged with attempted second degree murder.
