Louisiana Tech quarterback J’Mar Smith is the Louisiana Sports Writers Association Offensive Player of the Week. Smith threw for 338 yards and three touchdowns in the Bulldogs win over UTEP.

Northwestern State’s Ja’Quay Pough is the defensive player of the week. He had 21 tackles in the Demons 44-41 win at 20th ranked Incarnate Word.

McNeese’s Bailey Rabon is the Special Teams Player of the Week. Raborn made two field goals this past week and averaged 46 yards a punt.
