The average price for a gallon of regular gasoline in Louisiana has climbed back to over $2.00 a gallon. The American Automobile Association says the current statewide average is now $2.02. AAA fuel analyst Don Redman says they will keep rising in the coming months but probably won’t get above $3.00…:

New Orleans Pelicans Anthony Davis had an amazing 3 point shot at the end of the game last night against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The game was about to go into overtime until Davis got the game winning three to lift the Pels to a 116-113 victory. It was Davis’ first 3 pointer of the season.

A jailer in St. Mary Parish is under arrest for allegedly bringing cell phones to prisoners. 25-year-old Yeron Diaz-Soler, of Franklin, is booked on counts of bringing contraband into a penal institution and malfeasance in office.
