Baton Rouge TV stations are reporting the arrest of a high-ranking Livingston Parish Sheriff’s deputy and his wife, who is a school teacher in Livingston. The teacher, Cynthia Perkins, was booked on child porn and child rape charges. Her husband, Daniel Perkins has been charged with obstruction of justice. The A-G’s office is handling the investigation.

A mother claims that an officer with the Carencro Police Department broke the wrist of her autistic son during an encounter last week. The woman says police went too far when they came to their apartment complex after receiving complaints about her son, David Moody.
