Louisiana leads the nation in reported flu cases so far this year causing state health officials to remind everyone to get those flu shots.

In Rapides Parish the 1989 cold case murder of two women find new evidence. Earlier this month a tip led authorities to a pond on the property of former owner 71-year old Robert Blair. They found a car that his wife Isabelle Blair and her friend Marian Coutee were last seen in. Inside the vehicle, they have found evidence that is consistent with human remains.

Governor Edwards releases new campaign ads trying to lure Republican Abraham voters away from his opponent Eddie Rispone. The ad is premised on the idea that there are some GOP voters who would consider voting for a Democrat. Political analyst Bernie Pinsonat says those voters are rare, and getting rarer in Louisiana…

Attorney General Jeff Landry is pushing websites like eBay, Facebook, Craigslist, and others to crack down on counterfeit booze being sold on their platforms. Landry says those sites are not regulating the alcohol that’s being sold on their sites. He says that poses a serious health risk, and invites scammers…
