President Trump is headed to Lake Charles tonight to rally support for the two major Republicans in the governor’s race. Matt Doyle has more.

The Iberville Parish Council chairman is calling on the resignation of councilwoman Courtney Lewis because she hasn’t shown up to a council meeting in nine months. Parish officials do not know where the 34-year-old is, so they are having a hard time getting that resignation letter. Lewis is still receiving her 16-hundred-dollar monthly paycheck.
Election day is tomorrow with the gubernatorial race at the top of the ballot. Secretary of State Kyle Ardoin says there are a few things voters should know before they head to the polls…

Ardoin says you can also look at a sample ballot at geauxvote.com. He expects an overall voter turnout of 45 percent.
In addition to the governor’s race and other elections, the October 12th ballot has four proposed constitutional amendments. Public Affairs Research Council of Louisiana President Steve Procopio advises voters to do their homework before they enter the voting booth…
