President Trump is headed to Lake Charles tonight to rally support for the two major Republicans in the governor’s race. Matt Doyle has more.

The Iberville Parish Council chairman is calling on the resignation of councilwoman Courtney Lewis, because she hasn’t shown up to a council meeting in nine months. Parish officials do not know where the 34-year-old is, so they are having a hard time getting that resignation letter. Lewis is still receiving her 16-hundred dollar monthly paycheck.
The largest crowd of the season is expected tomorrow night in Tiger Stadium as fifth-ranked LSU hosts seventh-ranked Florida. LSU is asking fans to arrive on campus earlier than normal and should expect heavy traffic all day peaking at around 3 to 4 PM. LSU Senior Associate Athletics Director Robert Munson says they also expect to sell a lot of beer and wine inside the stadium and he says the selling of alcohol for the first time in general seating areas is a work in progress…
