Orgeron hopes the Tigers can get a couple of injured players back on the field. He says defensive end Rashard Lawrence and linebackers K’Lavon Chaisson and Michael Divinity are gimpy, but they are back at practice.
Training camp is underway for rookie sensation Zion Williamson and the Pelicans as they gear up for the 2019-2020 season. Williamson is already considered one of the best players in the NBA and he’s yet to play a game in the association. Zion says he can’t focus on the outside noise…

The Saints are off today after beating Dallas 12-10 on Sunday night. It’s the Black and Gold’s first win without scoring a touchdown since 1998. New Orleans defense has risen to the occasion since Drew Brees went down with a thumb injury. Safety Von Bell has really stepped up his game, against Dallas he had 10 tackles and leads the team in tackles with 31. New Orleans is back at the Dome on Sunday to host Dallas.
