Fort Polk says one person is dead and three others injured from an early morning Army helicopter accident that occurred during training. Names have yet to be released and an investigation is underway.

Baton Rouge Police arrested eight people who were allegedly waving stolen guns and assault rifles while filming a music video on a residential street. Two of the individuals taken into custody are juveniles. Sergeant L’Jean McKneely says officers responded to the area after receiving a call from a resident describing the scene of men toting weapons…

Lafayette General Health and Ochsner Health System are joining forces to form what they say will be the largest comprehensive healthcare provider in the Gulf South.
