Louisiana Tech visits Bowling Green on Saturday in a nonconference matchup. The Bulldogs defeated Grambling 20-14 last week but gave up 455 yards of offense to the F-C-S school. Tech Coach Skip Holtz says he’s not too discouraged

La Tech ranks 111th in the country in total defense. Bowling Green beat Morgan State 46-3 in its season opener but lost 52-to-nothing last week to Bowling Green.

The Cajuns rank 103rd in total defense and will host Texas Southern Saturday. It’s only the fourth time UL-Lafayette has played a SWAC school. The Tigers are 0-and-2 on the season and finished with a two and nine record the last two seasons. Kick-off is at 6:30.
