And if the Saints win, they’ll be in first place in the NFC South. Atlanta, Tampa Bay and Carolina all lost yesterday. The Panthers fell to the L-A 30-27. New Orleans will visit the Rams next Sunday in a rematch of last season’s NFC Title game.

The NFL is not happy that former LSU Tiger Odell Beckham Junior was wearing a 350-thousand dollar watch while playing in yesterday’s game. That violated a rule that prohibits players from wearing hard objects. Beckham caught seven passes in the Browns 43-13 loss to Tennessee.

For the second straight week, LSU’s Joe Burrow has been named SEC Offensive Player of the Week. The Tigers Q-B threw for 471 yards and four touchdowns in the 45-38 win over Texas. Burrow completed 79-percent of his passes on Saturday and for the season his completion percentage is 82-percent.

The Tigers defense also had a hard time slowing down Longhorn Q-B Sam Ehlinger as he threw for 401 yards and four touchdowns. Coach Ed Orgeron not happy with how the defense played…

Several players on defense had to leave the game because of cramping. Defensive linemen Rahsard Lawrence and Glen Logan did not return and we expect Coach O to give an update on their condition this afternoon.
