LSU’s new spread offense is legit. The sixth ranked Tigers went into a hostile environment on Saturday night and left Texas with a 45-38 victory over the 9th ranked Longhorns. Quarterback Joe Burrow threw for 471 yards, the second-highest total in school history, and three receivers had more than 100 yards in a single game for the first time in program history. A win tonight for the Saints and they are in first place in the NFC South. Minnesota thumped Atlanta 28-12, San Francisco defeated the Buccaneers 31-17 and the Rams held off Carolina 30-27. After tonight’s game against the Texans, the Saints head west to take on L-A Rams and Seattle on back-to-back Sundays.
