AT-and-T Southeast workers have been working without a labor contract since August 10th and A-T-and-T says they are surprised and disappointed union leaders called for a strike at this point in the negotiations.

State Police is not giving a timeline on when the westbound lanes of I-10 on the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge will re-open. A multiple-vehicle fiery crash yesterday afternoon has led to a big cleanup. One person died and several others were injured.
