A man wanted on rape and kidnapping charges for an abduction at the Dollar General in Watson has been arrested by Livinston Parish Sheriff’s Deputies. Twenty-eight year-old Charles A. Smith is accused of kidnapping a woman and her 2-year-old toddler and taking them over to St. Helena Parish, where it is believed the mother was raped.
